An important ingredient in cocktails is alcohol. To make sure you can use your alcohol for as long as possible, it needs to be stored correctly. Spirits such as gin, rum or whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place. liquors also prefer a dark and cool environment. Open bottles should be stored in the fridge.

Become a real bartender!

A stainless-steel cocktail shaker will turn any beginner into a professional. It can be used to easily mix drinks and looks good at the same time. A measuring cup, also called a jigger, allows you to measure ingredients precisely to make the perfect cocktails. Of course, you can’t forget about ice cubes. You can choose between reusable ones or the classic type according to your preferences. For example, some cocktails should be prepared with crushed ice. For whiskey, whiskey stones made from soapstone are ideal because they won’t water down your drink.
The right glasses can really jazz up your cocktails. Most cocktails are served in specific glasses. You don’t need to kit yourself out with everything right away, but choosing a few standard designs is a good idea. If you moisten the edge of a glass with a slice of lemon or orange and then dip the glass in sugar, you can create a nice sugar rim. The fruit slices can be used as decoration on the glass or in the drink. You can find plenty of tasty cocktail recipes on our blog.
