Learn through play

Nothing is more important for a child’s development than learning through playing. It helps children to flourish and expand their skills; it underpins formal learning later in their lives. Therefore, every child should have access to free play. Whilst playing, children develop important skills and competences, such as creativity, independence and the power of concentration, which are necessary in day-to-day life. That’s why playtime should never be viewed as a waste of time. Equally, active learning should be done in a playful way so that children are more motivated and engaged in learning. Most of the time, children don’t need many toys to enjoy playtime. Often kids’ vivid imagination allows them to turn the simplest things into the most fascinating toys, and it creates a great basis for role play.
