Order

How do I place an order?

You can place your order here in our online shop. Unfortunately, we do not accept orders by e-mail or telephone. Once you have added one or more items to your shopping cart, you can proceed to checkout. After providing your contact, delivery and payment information, we will take your order and prepare it for you.

How do I pay for my order?

We offer various payment methods in our shop. It is possible to pay in advance by bank transfer, via Amazon Pay, PayPal, direct debit, credit card or on account. You can find more information about our payment methods here.

How can I change or cancel my order?

If your order has not yet been shipped, you can cancel it by contacting our customer service. You can reach us either by email at support@relaxdays.de or via our contact form.

Shipping

What are the shipping options?

Since our items are already in stock for you and are delivered within 3-5 business days after receipt of payment within Europe, we do not offer express shipping. Our parcels are delivered by DHL or dpd. You will find out which service provider will bring your order to your home in the e-mail with your shipping confirmation as soon as the products are on their way.

What are the shipping costs?

Relaxdays always offers free shipping to the United Kingdom. We will process your order "delivered duty paid" (DDP). This means that we pay all additional costs for shipping, duty and tax. You can find out more about shipping costs to other European countries here.

Can deliveries also be made abroad?

Yes, we deliver to many different countries throughout Europe. You can find out which countries you can have your orders sent to and how much the corresponding shipping costs are here.

Is it possible to send my order to a post office or Packstation?

Yes, this is possible. However, you can usually only have parcels sent to a Packstation if you have a DHL customer number. You should give this number when you place your order.

When will my order be shipped?

After your order has been shipped, you will receive an email from us including a shipment number, which you can use to track your package. Otherwise, you also have the option of enquiring about the status of your order via our support by sending an email to support@relaxdays.de or by using our contact form.

Return

Can I return goods?

Yes, you can return any item. If you don't like a product, you have 90 days after purchase to return it without giving a reason. If there are any defects or faults, you can exchange items within 6 months of purchase. If you can prove that the defect existed before purchase, it is also possible to return products within 6 to 24 months after purchase.

Who pays the return costs?

Who pays the return shipping costs depends on the case. If you have received defective goods, we will of course bear the costs for your return. In this case, we will specify the carrier. If you do not like the product and would like to return it, you will bear the costs. In this case, you can also choose the carrier yourself. Furthermore, a free return via PayPal is possible if you have used this payment method.

How do I return my article?

If you would like to send your purchased items back, please get in touch with our customer service. You can either send an e-mail to support@relaxdays.de or use our contact form. Please always state your order number. If we cover the return costs, you will then receive a return label from our support team. You will receive an email from us as soon as your return has been received and is being processed.

How long does it take to credit a return?

You will receive your money back within 3-4 working days after the goods have been returned to us. The credit will be issued in the same way as the payment method you used before.

My item was delivered damaged. What now?

Of course, we want you to receive flawless goods and be satisfied with your order. If you have unfortunately received a defective item, please contact our customer service by e-mail at support@relaxdays.de or via the contact form. Together we will surely find a satisfactory solution.

Assembly

Does the delivery include assembly material, tools or instructions?

Depending on the article and the description on the website, this may be the case. Simply read the product description of the desired product to find out whether assembly materials or tools are included. For self-assembly products, instructions are always included.

The assembly of an item does not work. What now?

If you have problems setting up one of our products, simply contact our customer service. You can reach us by email at support@relaxdays.de or via our contact form. Our support team will be happy to help you.

Parts for assembly are missing from my order. What now?

If your package was delivered incomplete and parts are missing, simply contact our customer service. You can reach us by email at support@relaxdays.de or via our contact form. Our support team will be happy to help you and together we will find a satisfactory solution.

My account

Is the Relaxdays website safe?

Our shop has versatile as well as complex security measures. These serve the purpose of protecting all information processed by us against loss, misuse or alteration. Using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption technologies and protection measures against XSS and CSRF, we guarantee the security of all orders and data. All data entered by you is stored in encrypted form at all times.

How do I change my account details, such as delivery address or password?

Once you are logged in to our online shop, you can access your account overview via the My Account tab, which is located at the top right of our website. There you can edit all your account details and contact information.

I have forgotten my password. What now?

If you have forgotten your password, you can simply click on it in the login area. After entering your e-mail address, we will send you a link with which you can reset your password.

How can I delete my Relaxdays customer account?

If you would like your customer account and all associated data in this shop to be deleted, you can send an email with the corresponding request to datenschutz@relaxdays.de. The e-mail must contain the subject "Delete customer account shop".

Tips & Tricks

Is stainless steel magnetic?

Most types of stainless steel are not magnetic. However, contrary to many assumptions, the fact that it is stainless steel or not has nothing to do with the fact that it may be magnetic. So it is not true that the quality of a stainless steel can be recognised by its magnetic properties. As a rule, ferritic stainless steel tends to be magnetic and austenitic as well as martensitic steel tend not to be. All three belong to the group of stainless steels.

When can stainless steel rust?

Stainless steels contain at least 10.5% chromium. Reaction with oxygen creates a chromium oxide layer on objects made of stainless steel, which acts as a passive layer and protects against corrosion. To maintain this, it is essential to clean stainless steel regularly. Contamination by environmental influences, road salt, table salt or liquids containing chloride can damage the protective layer on the stainless steel in the long term. Due to such damage, even stainless steel may rust under certain circumstances.

Flash rust on aluminium. Is this normal?

Unless aluminium is coated, painted or anodised, the bare surface reacts with the oxygen in the air. The resulting oxide layer protects the aluminium from harmful environmental influences. However, if the pH values in the metal's environment fluctuate, the aluminium may start to rust.
To prevent this, it is important to maintain a pH-neutral environment and therefore not to use acidic or basic cleaning agents. Rags that have been used to clean steel, iron or other metals should also not be used to avoid transferring iron oxide to your aluminium objects. It is also best not to place them near other metals or store them together with damp or dirty wood.

What is the best way to care for my bamboo furniture?

The best care for your bamboo furniture depends on where it is placed and what conditions it is exposed to. As a protective measure against moisture in outdoor areas or bathrooms, it is advisable to treat bamboo furniture with oil or varnish it with polyurethane varnish. Before regular oiling, you should wipe bamboo items with hot water to open the pores. Once the furniture has dried, you can treat it with bamboo maintenance oil or virgin cooking oil. You should remove the thin layer of oil after it has been left on for a short time.
You should also note that most of our bamboo items are lacquered with transparent nitrocellulose. Such nitrocellulose lacquers ensure good mechanical resistance when finishing wood indoors. Nevertheless, nitrocellulose lacquers are relatively sensitive to weathering and appropriately treated pieces of furniture are less suitable for outdoor use. Should you need additional protection, you can of course obtain a suitable coating from a specialist shop and apply it to our furniture.
